For the last few weeks I've been thinking and praying about my last teaching series at LifePoint. When we launched LifePoint in 2005, my first teaching series was entitled, "The Point of Life." (OK, it was an obvious play on words but I wanted to start from the beginning emphasizing why we were starting a new church). As I've considered my last teaching series, I've been thinking about what final messages do I want to give before leaving. I've decided to call my last series "My Three Wishes." Every good pastor harbors ambitions for the people he leads. I'm in the in-between. That's the season of life where God's next move is anticipated but not realized. Multitasking comes in handy because I'm trying to wind down our San Diego time and trying to make plans for our move to Denver. In some ways it is an awkward season; maybe it's just more dramatic but not different than otheer seasons of life. I have two goals: to finish well and start strong. One works into the other.

Ken Hensley DOT com is now using Wordpress instead of Joomla. My previous host for KenHensley.com went away (after nearly 10 years of hosting). This necessitated a change in hosts (switched to globat.com) and I decided to stretch my web muscles and try a full-blown WordPress site. Here it is! Still experimenting with plugins, widgets, etc.
