There have been two more school shootings over the past week. One of the details that emerged from the shooting at Platte Canyon High School in Colorado brought me to tears. It was about the young student who was killed before the gunman committed suicide.Emily Keyes had recently turned 16 and was given a cell phone as a present. As the story began to unfold on live television, her father sent her a text message asking if she was OK. She replied at 1:52 PM with a short message, "I love you guys." Less than two hours later she would be shot in the back of the head as she tried to run away.
